3SDM 0.9

Damn. been trying to decide on wheels since Sept and really like the 3sdm wheels
There is stuff out there but it is few and far between, and then it is generally on lots of vans so lacks that uniqueness. You just need to keep looking and call a few shops as some sites claim 'load rated' when others don't say the same for the exact same wheel. Just make sure you get one that is stamped to 860kg as a minimum.

8.5 front & 10 rear. I have a t28 so I should be fine. I'll confirm what the load rating is on them.
The offer was on their face book page and I called 3sdm directly.

Problem with load rated wheels is they have more metal to be stronger thus weight alot more and heavy 20" ers I think stole my fuel economy.
My abt cr20s are fully load rated for a t32 but weight nearly 30kg with tyres.

245/45/19 & 275/40/19 I'll try the Goodyear efficient grips. They don't do assymetric 3 in 275/40/19. Gay.

I'm hoping to find my fuel economy with these.

We must have been separated at birth.... exact same size as mine! I personally think the fronts look a little chunky but I think they are the thinnest/lowest profile you can get on a 8.5

Well I weighted the 19x8.5 wheel. It's about 12kg. The 19x10 is about 13kg.
Stunning wheel.
Not sure what the tyres weight but from experience about 11kg which in total should be a huge 6kg lighter per wheel than my 20" abts and are an inch smaller. Hopefully this should pickup better around town and improve fuel economy.
Tyres getting fitted next weekend.

A few photo sessions are in order before and after.

Fitted and the front dont clear the brembos. Scratched the frack out of the calipers and back of the front wheel. Looks like I'll be respraying the calipers this weekend. And fit a 3-5mm spacer on the front but for now I had to remove them. Van wouldnt move because of the brakes.

Not sure if I prefer them over the 20s but I'll hold judgment until I drive on them and get them on level ground. But they are about 5kg lighter.

Interesting to see how you go with those @RattyMcClelland , i still cant decide on 19" or 20" but as mine is a T32 dont get much choose really. I think it will be TSWs wheels as they have a few to choose from with the 860kg + that i like . Hoping the wheel market will improves for vans as the demand rises.

I have looked at every wheel in the world Dave :) I think i may start a business selling load rated rims ;)

Why did you lot go for a t32 in the first place? My van is constantly around the 2.4tonne range doing my job.
Does suck how you have limited when choice. The choice is only going to get bigger. Van pimpage is on the rise.

In my case i have a T32 combi (1000kg + payload) which allows me to claim the vat back, big bonus :)

liking those wheels @RattyMcClelland. How will spacers help with the brake problem, as the calipers will still sit within the wheel won't they?
I've got a T32 because that is what the dealer had with options on I wanted, and was not about to wait 9 months for a new order.

The wheel spokes don't clear the brake caliper. Adding a 3mm spacer will push the wheel out to clear the calipers, thus increase offset.

Ahh, I see, I was thinking the caliper was fouling the rim not the spokes. Fairly simple fix then. At least you're the man that can get it all sprayed up.
