4 year clutch?

that is a dam good price. i am hoping for that as currently quoted £2250 . I would drive to the midlands to have that done. car to PM your guy?
It’s midland vw if you google them you’ll find their number, £2250 that sounds steep.

Have a part number from VW 0A5141671Q, from the dealer . there are several variants with the last letter differing . anyone with any idea?

I had a new clutch on my T6 in 2019, van on 94k at moment and now the pedal doesn't return unless i lift it up with my foot.
I had the brake/clutch fluid topped up as it was really low. would the system need bleeding ?
If the fluid continues to get low it is leaking. In the old days you could get slave a master Cylinder repair kits. Really just seals. So you need to look for a leak of brake fluid. Bye the way we now call them primary and secondary cylinders. No masters or slaves these days

very well pointed out on the terminology. we could laugh and make joking comments but I'm sure I would offend someone somehow so will keep those to ourselves. just a thanks to all who have helped me on this one. something that could be made so straight forward if there was more visibility from aftermarket parts suppliers that directly relate to OEM components. hopefully out of the 3 I have ordered today I will have something. and a big shout out for Graeme in Scottys van center for passing me onto Motorserv in Nottingham, who also did me a solid today to recommend leamoco ADF123603 as a direct replacement and getting confirmation that 0A5141671Q , where Q is just the revision letter, and other parts should fit the same. here is hoping and I will relate back once i know the issue in the box. hopefully Monday .

My T6 is 5½ years old and has 35k on the clock. 18 months ago I was getting clutch slip in higher gears above 2000 rpm (@ 28k miles). I got a quote and it stopped doing it. Now its started again and worse this time.

I took it to my local VW specialist who didn't believe me that it was slipping at that mileage, but once he drove it he agreed it needed a new clutch and flywheel. The next time I drove it, nothing wrong with it again, however this time its started to come back again in substituent use

Been quoted £1700, does that seem about right for Clutch, flywheel and clutch cylinder?

I paid £1150 at midland vw using all genuine parts .

Contact Remapping the Way in Wales they do clutch replacement for T6 for £800 using LUK parts which is basicaly the same VW is using.

800 Is a bargain ... was that with the flywheel or just clutch. .. mine 1200. BUt that's a bit of mates rates up in Scotland.

I got mine for £720 but no flywheel change. Just clutch (&slave cylinder). £1200 doesn’t sound bad based on @F2JON ‘s price

My DMF was on the way out - got it done at a local garage, no issue with parts availability, cost £1350 all in. Included replacing the gearbox oil as I was originally thinking it was too noisy and thought that might help.

Looks like @Mupp3tt needs new mates

My price is inc the flywheel, so I'm happy with that, but yes I do need new mates , are you offering your services
Not overly sure if this is vw genuine, defo not on the secondary cylinder as couldn't get one so gone with Sachs which I hope fits... otherwise I may be waiting a while for vw part.
