Have a T6.1 2020 T32 Kombi when purchased was lowered 40mm, has 20s with 40 profile roads tyres at moment.

Go on a lot of Wet Grass and Mud, really want to switch to an All Terrain tyre and wheels package like a General Grabber AT3 (5x120 18"j et45 235/55/18 profile), or go to 17 if can't fit.

Anyone have any experience on what will fit without rubbing etc, heads spinning trying to get a right fit, wheel and Profile, was hoping for as much tyre as I can't away with.

thanks

Scott

I have 235/65 17 AT3s and a 30mm drop. No issues at all. Believe I could get another 10mm lower without issue too. I wouldn’t go 245/65 17 as would throw the speedo out too much and I believe rub.

I think this is absolutely stunning! Can I ask what made you go for the coverts in 17" as opposed to 18"
Cheers, went 235/65 17 as it was an easy wheel & tyre combo to source, and I believe gives a larger side wall ratio than 18” for an improved ride quality with no rubbing etc. I find the ride so much more comfortable than when running on 20s. Love the sporty look but just not practical for us and how we use the van.

Hi All,
Don't suppose anyone has any images of transporter, Devonport 17" wheels, all terrain tyres on standard suspension?

I'm hoping to swap my tyres from the standard 215s to fill arches but don't want it to look like she's on stilts!

Any help appreciated

Cheers

The most that you can add before the speedo starts to under read is about 24mm. This is what you get going from a 215/60/17 to a 235/65/17, for example.
Obviously losing 24mm of arch gap will also mean a 24mm increase in ground clearance.
The standard ride height (unloaded) is just too high, in my opinion.

'Lots of images on this thread, here . Post#
#21 has a van on standard suspension wearing 235/65/17 on its Devonports.
