4motion Kombi seat removal, Rib seat fitting plus diesel heater install

I have a T32 T6 kombi 4motion and decided to remove the kombi seats and fit a Rib bed.

Got underneath and looks like I need to remove the 4motion drive shaft and exhaust.

Any tips, manuals, photo's, videos greatly appreciated. couldn't find much online.

Hi I know this is an old thread but did you get this fitted ok? I'm about to fit a rib in a 4motion t5.1. I know I can't use the standard fitting bar underneath (just says not suitable for 4motion) so will need to fabricate a solid bar / plates to fit. Did you need to drop the prop shaft or rear diff? Easy enough to fit? Presume rib fits fine just not the standard fitting bar.

Hi, I actually didnt need to touch the 4motion bits at all and the supplied bar worked fine.

Amazing! Thanks for reply Matt! Supplied bar being big one that bolts between the chassis legs? Don't suppose you remember what rib bed or fitting bar it was do you??
On I was looking at says not suitable for 4motion but not sure why as I think it ends up behind the rear axle anyway. Did yours go in standard position for a camper conversion? Cheers!

Yes, mine went in standard position, I had the fixed seat 150cm wide. The bar was red from memory, I will see if I can find any pics.
