Just slowly working my way through installation of a Clayton LPS II and I've been helped lots by folk on here, which I really appreciate. Yesterday I was in the process of slowly pulling what little hair I have on my head, one by one, nothing made any sense, my trusty old fluke meter measured the voltage over the battery at 12.7v but I only had 11.2 v on the fuse board and .4v on the Clayton trigger lead!! Slept on it last night and went back to basics today......it all showed the correct voltage 12.7 all the way to the Clayton!!! Then it didn't......grrrrrrrr ..............in the end it turned out the battery in the meter had a broken terminal and was giving me some strange faults....it all works now..very happy!!

It's like the old reminder to never assume that the new part isn't faulty - that's had me going round in circles more than once...
