Hi,
First time post as I can’t find this answer on here.
I’ve recently changed the rear right ABS sensor on my t6 having got an open circuit fault code on that side.
After the change the lights on the dash cleared but within 100m it came back on (ABS, low tyre and traction control). Now using my Carista I’m getting a new code
00093 - Right rear ABS wheel speed sensor: mechanical malfunction

A google of the fault points me to terminal 15?

Anyone had/seen this issue, I’d be grateful where to go next.

Thank you
Neil

This means that ABS sensor is not "seeing" pulses from the ABS reluctor ring.

I guess your ABS sensor is not sitting properly in the opening or your wheel bearing is corroded/damaged and therefore reluctor ring is not doing its job.

Hey, thank you for the reply, the wheel bearing is scabby. I’ll swap the bearing over for a new one.
If using none VW bearings (e.g. Febi) Do the rear wheel bearings have to be matching?

Any brand/make will work as long as it is a replacement for a Transporter.
You can replace single one and they don't need to be paired nor matched.
