Acc T6

Surely the ACC uses the city braking sensor, so for those of us without it, we'd just need the correct button, and a recode?

And if that is the case, could that be done with VCDS?

Yes I believe it’s been confirmed it’s the same sensor/part number. However you require ACC button on steering wheel and also the additional module. But don’t think it’s quite that straight forward as a retrofit compared to installed from new.

Which additional module?

Anyone made any progress on this?

Just don’t know if I should take a punt on the steering wheel or not then giving me ACC button and paddle shift. But probably voids the insurance I suspect?

Linking in another thread with some initial discussions re activating ACC (starting 5-Apr-2018) Carista - however, still unresolved.

Ill do some digging over the weekend and see whats what . . . . .

Does anyone get a visual warning in the mfd when a car is too close?. I used too but not anymore.

Perhaps you’ve accidentally turned it off in the MFD
