Never had an issue they are currently on mine and converted friends cars of the following, Audi A8 / VW Caravelle / Skoda Roomster / Focus ST / Audi A6 Avant / Mercedes C-Class / Audi A2 / Skoda Fabia vRS / Audi S8 V10 to mention just a few
personally used them for over 10 years even had then on my old Audi RS6

you must have had a bad set there mate or wrong type from where i do not know
