AdBlue - Have I over filled it? Sanity Check

This thread has got me wondering, what happens if you put in AdBlue but , for eg, half a litre less than the minimum of the range it is asking for?

Thanks for all your comments, so the immediate problem is sorted, after driving 180 miles since the refill I was getting annoyed at the countdown and flashing lights, so yesterday I got the bottom tray off and drained 3litres out of the AdBlue tank, turned on the ignition waited 30 seconds and started up. The display switched to 4000 miles remaining with a min and max showing as 1 Gal. Cleared the implausible signal fault for now to save my OCD so as it stands no errors, warning lights or 'Countdown of Doom' :)

Readings are now:
Engine Module:
Reducing agent fill level sensor - 0mm (Next on the list of 'things to do.....'!)
Reducing agent tank volume actual value calculated - 10.986L
Remaining vehicle distance until reducing agent deficiency - 6,068.400km

Dashboard Module:
Urea operating range - 3,872km (presume this actually means miles as 3,872 miles is approximately 6,231km)

The issue is that the sensor reports a failure - P203B - implausible signal - as it indeed is. Nothing to do with "overfill". You need to fix that - by using traditional means - check power, ground, connections - before replacing the sensor.
@mmi Do you have any advice on where to start with this?

Where is the sensor or the sensor electrical connection?

On the assembly diagram below I can see listings/part numbers for the pump and the control unit, is the sensor available as a separate part?

It seems you have had a good start by reading diagnostics data
Perhaps next to check electrical connections from/to tank - for tidiness and signs of corrosion.

It seems that the sensor is not available separately. For more information see pp. 30-31 in below
