I am having problems with my adblue sensor picking up the refill.
I am looking to source a new tank from eBay, does anybody know the part number for a 2017 150 DSG T6 or where I can find it without removing the current tank

I would ask VW Spares if you want an accurate answer.
Apparently the T6 is not the same as a 6.1 according to a recent post.

Not sure if it’s one part for all or of there are variations on the tanks/sensors
pm your vin number and I will fetch the part number for you

So this is fetched from your vin
Not sure what if any the difference is between H & J ?

Be aware that I've literally just gone through the Adblue tank replacement and you need to make sure the part numbers and all the letters match your current T6 because if they don't, you're in trouble like I was. The tanks look the same and all the plugs are the same, but the sensors and pump are different between certain years and the T6 and T6.1 which is also the same tank and sensors visually, but different part numbers.

and theres the answer :)

I will do a little comparison between 6 and 6.1 and see how many variants there are

Annoyingly, I have a brand new 6.1 tank with all the sensors, less the lift pump that I don't need now, and these are over £900 plus vat from the dealers.

T6 has two tank variants (as per the above diagram)
7E0131877H - RRP £594.28 + vat - PR Code 7MM
7E0131877J - RRP £594.28 + vat - PR Code 4BF/4BH/7CS (this unit part number supercedes to 7E0131877K)

T6.1 has two tank variants
7E0131877J - RRP £594.28 + vat - PR Code 4BF/4BH/4IA/4IE (this unit part number supercedes to 7E0131877K)
7LA131877E - RRP £594.28 + vat - PR Code N/A

No worries, thanks for the reply.
I get where you are coming from re the 17s and comfort.
I bump up kerbs all the time, especially directly across from my drive. This is worrying me about going 20s.
I see 19s as a compromise so probably will end up with those, but the 17s do sound tempting.

The dealer told me the tanks were £900 plus VAT. I swear they just invent prices depending on what mood they are in at the time, which actually seemed quite a good one to me.

Thats the full retail price that shows for the tanks, quite often there are 'associated parts' that are sometimes recommended to go alongside so they may have included those but seems quite a difference !

what happened did you have to replace the adblue tank...I've got a similiar issue and looking for a solution

Had to get tank and sensor replaced on my T6 cost alot of cash...surely you can just replace the sensor instead of everything?!...only 22k on click too, disappointed with vw attiuded because ld got serviced somewhere else but all vw parts used for service...wanted me to take a policy out but at a reduced rate
Nearly passed out on floor....l didnt get the policy and wont be going to vw again for anything.

I think the whole tank assembly thing has happened to folks before looking at this thread:

Shame you didn't spot this:

Welcome to the forum, despite it often costing you money in "ooo shiny I want one of those" it can sometimes help save you money too.
