Advice for a newbie. Based in Newcastle under Lyme. Camping advice please

Hi all

We have just purchased a van to convert, I want to use it before the end of summer, so I have suggested that we buy an air bed (and come camping bits) and go a couple of camp sites.

Any suggestions, my wife really like presthaven sands in Wales as it's a shortish drive.

Some people have found that a £100 fold up bed from Ikea is a good fit in the back.
I used a mattress from the spare room until I had a proper bed fitted in the back of mine!

Or an Inofia folding mattress which can be carried over to the proper build. Depends how much you value / need good sleep!!

Hammarn is the ikea bed - mattress is a bit gutless - we put our patio furniture cushion pads on it and it was the best sleep we’ve had camping, ever!
