Hello all,

I recently bought a T6 and I'm having issues with the air con not getting cold at all.

It's had a regas without success so I scanned with carista and have the following 2 error codes:
Heater & air conditioning:
9471509 - Center vent temperature sensor: Open circuit/short circuit to B+
9481746 - High-pressure sensor: Short circuit to B+

I don't mind relatively simple jobs but is this something I can look at? The high pressure sensor seems like the main candidate. Does anyone have the location or a guide on changing or is this a specialist job?

Any other information needed?

Hi, I have same problem aircon blowing lukewarm instead of ice cold. Did you get to the bottom of the fault

Yes - it was a wiring issue. Still not fully sorted but it seems like it was bodged and needs some wiring replaced.

So an update to this. I've now been told that the car was never fitted with air con and it's had a partial retrofit. The compressor is there along with some other bits but most of the wiring is not.

Feel absolutely duped it had the AC button and carista suggested that there was an error. No where local wants to touch it so may end up having to go to London to get it looked at. Any other retrofitters people are aware of?

Private sale so no comeback there.
