We never advertise electrical upgrades or rewires, but we have been doing them for more years than I can remember and it’s increasingly getting more popular,
Some are purely wanting the ability to be of grid, others are due to Covid builders who leave the customer with a very dangerous vehcile, and poor performance
We are seeing more and more owners taking their conversions back to the builder who just strap another battery on, or adding a B2B as they installed a incorrect VSR but make a complete hash of it
Luckily the first 3 pics wasn’t to bad of install when it came in , probably the first one we seen in a very long time that actually used some cable ties, but it just wasn’t lasting long
This T6 belongs to a member on here , who had a typical Ctek d250se and 100a battery, he brought in a Fogstar 230a underseat battery , so we set about installing a Victron Orion Xs DC-DC, Victron mains charger , Victron MPPT solar charger , big Victron Phoenix 12 1200 inverter, Victron Shunt , along with appropriate new cabling , fuse holders , along with a solar upgrade very soon it will be a very capable of grid conversion. Truly enjoyed the install
Last picture is of one of those that had a series of add ons, but just wasn’t performing. And again not reading the instructions on how to integrate the newer products to the old install, so again Victron DC-DC , Victron mains, Victron solar upgrade using their MPPT controller and a nice lithium battery upgrade .
