Amp turning on with speaker pop when opening door

I have just installed a Pioneer GM-D1004 amplifier with plug and play harness from SCR Distribution, and Blam speakers. Whenever I open the door, with a slight delay the amplifier turns on briefly causing the speakers to pop. I checked the grounds were reconnected on the doors when I installed the speakers. The pop also happens sometimes with other events like turning on the head unit, turning the ignition etc although not that consistently. Any ideas why? Maybe I have forgotten a ground connection somewhere else in he dash? The amp is wired up with an input for "control terminal of the car stereo" but no other control inputs as far as I can tell.

Thanks, I saw this but it sounded like a different issue where the amp would power down after 20 seconds. For me the amp turns on and then immediately off causing a pop. This happens about 1 or 2 seconds after opening the door. Maybe the same solution will work although you said it just made the pop quieter? Slightly reluctant to throw more money at the problem rather than removing the amp and seeing how the speakers sound...

It's the Audison USS4 that reduces or eliminates the pop no matter what causes the pop. My amp powers on when you unlock, open doors, head unit on etc then powers off after X seconds (not sure how long exactly) and the pop is a flaw with the amp design not utilising a relay to only connect the speakers after its powered up.
My hifi amps have relays so there is no pop on the hifi speakers.

I just experienced the same
speakers popping about 5 sec after closing the doors
also pioneer D1004 amp, with separate +12v to leisure battery
using original earth point in footwell

Just a thought but have you got the remote turn on wire connected as well as line sensing turn on? Don’t know if this could cause it but worth a look??

onlu high level with auto turn on

does the standard hu have a remote out?

If the amp is switching on with ignition/open doors but the radio is off then you already have the remote out from the HU connected.
If the amp only switches on when the radio is on then the amp is using signal/audio detection.

amps also switches on while radio off, but taking key out of contact.
somehow it gets a false remote pulse

Blue wire (remote) is not connected, only the high level speaker from HU to amp input

Maybe clean ground bolt with sandpaper?

Update:
Spent almost the whole dat looking for a solution.
Installed a high-low converter which makes a remote signal.
Still random popping noise, when closing Doors, taking key out of contact,...
The converter also powers on, just like the Amp before on high inputs.
Then big surprise: engine on gave Massive Hum with the converter, so even worse with rca's and remote cable connected.
Separated speaker wiring from power wiring,...
Cleaned the VW ground bolt,...

No result this far.

Could this be caused by taking +12v from leisure battery and minus from an original ground bolt with other original wires?
