Annual T6F Pilgrimage To Bala Lake - 29th April to 2nd May 2022

"To all those that attended and had a great time at Bala this year and to those yet to experience it.

Lest start the ball rolling for next years trip, as it is never too early to start planning." - @czmate1999

Glanllyn Lakeside Caravan & Camping Park

3 great holiday choices by beautiful Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake) in Snowdonia National Park

  • Glanllyn Caravan and Camping Park - has modern facilities for caravanners and campers, including a modern shower block with free, hot, all-day showers. There are plenty of electric hook up points for caravans motor-homes and tents. The 16 acres of level parkland on the shores of Lake Bala is ideally suited for family holidays, to fish in the lake and river or to use as a base for day trips to explore Snowdonia and surrounding areas of North Wales and all it has to offer
  • Werngoch Holiday Home Park
  • Glanllyn Lodge 5 star Self-Catering for 5
Hiya Lee, is there a WhatsApp group for this

Nice van @Covmod we have one also blue and also on final stages (ready the week before!) so may join this. We aren’t far from you in solihull. By the way what wheels are those they look great!

For those who’ve been, Is there much to do around the site / lake without bringing your own kayaks etc? Got a 12 yr old and if this is our first trip I’d better make sure he is entertained! On similar lines, what are facilities like here? Good showers etc? Also need to make sure the wife is happy on her first outing lolz

Thanks

Hi mate, the wheels are Navis Twin 5’s in Anthracite on Blistein B14 Coilovers. It will be my wife’s first trip like this too (and will definitely not be happy if the showers aren’t clean!!

Van all ready and campsite booked. Can’t wait to meet some of you guys. First trip in my first van!

I’m very jealous reading this, I’ve just had pictures through of my van with the roof cut out like yours was. Given the chances of it not being done and the absence of any EHU pitches left (no diesel heater yet) we haven’t booked in. Will see what happens maybe could get over for the day or 1 night if stars align!

Hope you make it, even if it is for the day. Haven’t tried my heater yet, so hopefully it works ok!

No heating in my van either. Cant be as cold as when I did a track day on Anglesea and forgot my sleeping bag. Slept in my leathers, but had to get up and run up and down the pit lane in the middle of the night to get warm lol.

I’m not worried about me more SWMBO and the kids, don’t want the first trip out to put them off.

I’ve been to Anglesey circuit for the last few years at the Race Of Remembrance on November so know how cold that place gets. Still one of the most beautiful circuits, reminds me of Phillip Island, that view as you crest the hill and just see the sea is amazing (and easy to miss your braking point!)
