Totally agree; real trades persons use festool kit.
Like @Bryn23 during his time as a highly skilled cabinet maker.
Makita...... sounds to much like “Blue Peter”.
Big Festool fan and have been for years, my track saw is used almost everyday, 10 years old and still going strong. Having said that the impact driver is utter garbage! think it might be discontinued? Mafell make a lovely imapct driver ££££ though.
I really don't understand "keep for best" Festool make industrial power tools built to be used!
Never had much joy with Makita but I might have been unlucky.
I have a few Dewalt bits and never had any issues but for me Milwaukee are the best of the rest!
Hope that helps.
Well, looks like you have your answer @Loz no point in me asking with such glowing reply's. My Makita still has the old Ni-Cd batteries so I'm looking to upgrade that sometime
For all you Makita owners out there.. has anyone used those (what I assume to be 3D printed) battery holders? I’m just wondering if they’re sturdy enough or not.
we have Festool track saws ,sanders, domino xl ,as for drills the Milwaukee impact drivers and drills are they business .
Makita kit seems to have gone down hill .
