He also mentioned his mate has just received his new transporter and the windscreen is etched with a ford badge

As an ex owner of several BMW bikes I'd suggest that's not a bad thing at all.

Just some people I see in comments sections of YouTube have a certain brand snobbery. It was most noticeable when CF Moto started gaining traction and the BMW riders, along with others, were very anti China… until it was pointed out how much Chinese there are in some of the bikes from some big brands.
My son has. CF Moto and so far it’s blooming amazing. I have a Guzzi so the naff quality bits are called ‘character’ and I convince myself that’s a good thing
