Any specialist tools required for coilover fitting?

it's 30mm, you'll need a 12 point socket.
Thank you guys, much appreciated, I think I have one that size. I know it's a 21 spanner for the top mounts which I need to get. Any other tips from you guys, I'm only doing them as a local garage quoted £550.00 just to fit them o_O.

Wow o_O they really didn’t want that job! There are a few things to look out for, I’ll drop you a PM later when I’m back in front of my laptop.
Have you seen the AUTODOC YouTube video? It’s not bad for showing the whole process.

Thank you, just watched that, he made it look so easy.:p Full of confidence now.

Looking at getting my new Stance Plus Streets fitted soon as I’m about to be placed on furlough leave! My question is - do I need any specialist tools to carry out the swap?

Spring compressors I know I need but do I need a ball joint remover?

Also, any advice would be appreciated.
A hub splitter will make the job easier, you could whittle down an allen key as a make do tool or purchase one. Hub socket, spring compressor etc. Dont forget that you will need tracking/alignment at the end once complete. Cheers
