Arrived at a campsite and can’t get the site hookup working……

My cable is brand new, plugged in, hit the switch in the van and it does not turn on…the 12v light does not come on and the 3 pin plugs don’t work.

Maybe the outlet is not switched on at the pitch?

Try turning the plug where it goes into the campsite socket- I’ve had this before

@dave_b check the pitch power has not tripped... Seen this quite often. May need to reset breaker....

check the breaker is on. . . and the plugs are in fully.

if still no power call the camp site warden, maybe its switched off?

If you’re cable could reach another outlet and that worked would indicate the problem is with your pitch. Obviously don’t unplug somebody’s cable even momentarily unless they are there to ask. I’ve found fellow campers usually very helpful when trying to sort out a problem.

Some site hook ups have a switch you have to turn ...
Maybe a pic or just speak to the warden before it gets too late .

This also, mine trips occasionally - it's the inrush current tripping the consumer unit breaker.

Little red flag in the windows indicate danger - they're live. If they were off the tiny windows would be green
