@Polzeylad Yep, turns what could have been quite a decent looking vehicle into a monstrosity. Perhaps it is due to Japanese legislation for pedestrian protection?

Another odd looking vehicle from that region is the Nissan Cube. Rear pillar on one corner then wrap around glass on the other.

I find the Cube just about works but the Japs do come out with some shockers.
