Did absolute 5 fit Bose tweeters?
I have a signature but have the oem standard grills still, I’d like to change the grill covers but can’t seem to find just the covers

No, Audison tweeters I think, I painted the grilles myself and added Bose badges
Do the grills pop out / pull apart to paint? Really good job. Thinking of doing something similar.
I removed A pillar trim first and then removed the grilles
Did you paint silver first, then mask and paint black?
Any paint recommendations? Going to give some a go
Painted them matte black first then masked and sprayed silver after, I sanded them first with 800 wet/dry until they were matte and allowed 48hrs for black to fully dry before masking and spraying silver
Sorry resurrect / hijack an old thread, but i have just removed the stock tweeters from the pillars as they are going to be lined with alcantara. as long as you're careful removing the plastic welds, everything just pops out ready for covering / painting etc.
