Audison vs Hertz or other??

I have a T6.1 Kombi with Discover Pro and i'm disappointed with the general sound. I do like the Discover pro unit though, so wish to improve and extend, rather than replace it.
It's been a few years since I have upgraded any car audio, however, I understand that Herzt and Audison are both great brands (even the same brand I hear)
So I would appreciate any advice on what a good install could sound like. I'm interested in quality sound, rather than pure volume.

I was thinking of components in front as well as a discreet 10" sub driven by an amp with the potential to extend the sound in future to the rear if and when i do some further conversion.
I have already started a Dodo sound proofing up front and will complete the rest of the Van along with Insulation this weekend (hopefully).

Does anyone have an Audison or Hertz install and could any feedback on which you items bought and what you think of them?

Thanks in advance for any feedback!!

We do a superb package we call Signature, it combines Audison amp. Hertz front speakers and a hertz or Audison 10” sub in our own design and manufactured underseat enclosure.. we used to use JL subs but these are not available at present

drop us a pm and il go through it all with you

Audison and Hertz are indeed sister companies owned by Electromedia. Both make excellent product with different qualities.

Personally if you want sound quality you want to look at DSP amplifiers for the best sound you can get and there several guys on here now we've done installs for that can vouch for it's superior sound.

I run an Audison Forza M12.14 amp in my caddy along with Hertz Mille Pro tweeters and doors woofers and Coaxials (soon to be accompanied by Mille legend mids) and a JL Audio 10-TW3-D4 and the sound is immense. The tonality is crisp and clear and precise with plenty of bass.

Helix are also worth looking at regarding Amps and DSP they have some of the best software on the market.

Morep make some truly great stuff too. We've started using alot of there Maximo range including the 602 HE which work great on stock systems and excellent when amplified.

Let me know if I can help.

Cheers
Chris
