Auto headlights no longer switching on.

T6 150 Highline
I have noticed that the front & rear lights do not come on when I use the key fob. They used to come on.

The light switch is set to automatic.

The indicators flash & the doors are unlocked, but the lights only come on when I turn the ignition on.

It is the same if I use the spare key fob, so it’s not a battery fault.
Can anyone help

It sounds like you're referring to leaving home lights. This is coded either by VCDS, Carista or similar. If it's not doing it, but it used to, have you had any/made any coding changes recently that could have affected this?

If it isn't a coding issue, you'll need advice from one of the forums many auto electrical gurus, of which I am not one!

It’s a option you can select on the dash options if my memory serves me correctly

Thanks for the replies.
I haven’t got a clue about coding, so I wouldn’t have changed anything.
All the exterior lights, along with the interior used to come on when I operated the key fob to disarm the alarm, & unlock the doors.
When I use the key fob now, the exterior lights don’t come on, but everything else works fine.
The exterior lights only come on when I turn the ignition on
As I said in the first post, the exterior lights switch is set to automatic.

Think I might know the reason why.
I have a BlackVue dashcam with power magic.
Which is taking power from the main battery when parked.
Its cold weather, & I have been only doing short journeys.
I will do a long run, & report back.

Wone be the reason. Need to make sure switch is in auto position, lights only then come on if light se sir seems it necessary.

Have just checked the battery, & it’s showing 11.1volts.

The man from Del Monte , he say yes. But only after a 10 mile ride down the motorway, & 4 hours on a charger.
Just need to sort out the Power Magic.
