Battery code tool

I believe it has recently become a feature on Carista

Unfortunately they are still working on it, spoke to them yesterday
I would think that the battery supplier would do it as part of the battery sale.

I have a 2016 euro 5 and fitted a new one about a year ago .l didnt reset anything and all ok.

When I changed my battery on the T6 and looked at the battery coding with VCDS I found that the OEM originally fitted battery (yes I bought the van new) didn't match the existing coding. If Hanover can't get it right why should we worry?

It’s a T6 2018 with start stop, so needs programming, from Moll UFB to AGM.
I’ll drop in at a garage next week.
Carista are on it, but it may be weeks away!!

@Liggo. Out of interest, what AGM battery did you buy please? I ask as I might be needing a new one soon (I'm currently monitoring the situation). Thats also useful information on Carista not yet having the function working as I thought it was sorted. That said, I don't think it's a major issue for me as I have a T6F VCDS guru quite close who has already offered assistance if needed (thumbs up to @Loz !).

Hi Ayjay
I went to Tayna.com & they recommended the Enduroline start stop 80Ah as a replacement.

I’ve just put a new starter battery in to find that the option to register it on Carista is not there.
I’ve emailed them but I’m not best pleased tbh
