BBQ Heaven - charcoal or gas, proper food, recipe ideas

I've also got a Weber Spirit Gas bbq, I've had to work a few night shifts out of the blue so a minted lamb burger and new potatoes as a snack before work! lamb.jpg

I bit the bullet last year and went hybrid.
Grillstream classic 4 burner.
Quality bit of kit, fire up the gas if you want a quick and easy bbq, or load up the charcoal rack along with the gas and you have authentic bbq flavour with continuous heat.

I don't think you can go too wrong with a weber 57cm kettle in what ever guise. Add a pizza & rotisserie attachment and your all set. I've got a bar-b-kettle, smokey mountain and a Cobb for camping/fishing. I think I'm going to get a little gas weber next for quick cooks.

Thanks all - I'm now bloody ravenous after reading this thread!

Get a Gas2Coal! Best of both worlds. If you get a 4 burner you can do half gas and half coal (like photo below) Also uses the gas to light the coals so ready to cook in 15 minutes!

Edit: Should have said also have a Cadac for camping and just bought one of these of Amazon a fold flat bbq/firepit. Great bit of kit and very portable.
