Best4 warranty

Hi,
anyone experience with Best4 warranty?

I got it "for free" when I bought the van and it is due to expire.
They called me yesterday and offered 36 months for 1K.

I´ll go to the smallprint later today.

3K per claim
up £65 Garage labour rate
no excess
Nationwide Recovery, Homestart, Roadside Assistance, Emergency Key Protection, Misfuelling

Are you eligible for the VW all-in plan? At least you’d get servicing and mots included. The quote above seems a big steep

From what I understand is it just covering the service itself (and service parts) or will the warranty extend?

That's expensive! Also 3k per claim would cover very little realistically except little bits like sensors. And what garage has an hourly rate less than 65 per hour these days? I'd swerve that one.

Look at AA breakdown. They do a repair and parts add on which covers lots up to I think a £500 limit per claim. It's loads cheaper. I had a brand new starting battery fitted recently through it. Paid for the year and then some!

Normally they discount the price twice a year, must be under 6yrs old and under 11k i seem to remember !

Thanks, I had a look today and the VW plan is even more expensive for just 2 years.
Sure, with the insurance I need to add the MOT and you have to have services in a "proper" garage, for the three years that would be 2K on-top.
