Beware of drug-induced ramblings!

I guess having my right eye cataract removed last week and now being able to see over the horizon is a bit wank compared to your hospital visit @JOG sorry to have missed the initial installments of your adventure and glad you're on the up again... one small observation regarding that arm and are you thinking about becoming a hair donor?

I am now on my way home!

SWMBO is less than impressed at my suggestion that I continue to receive breakfast in bed. Muttered something about “bed baths and happy endings next.”
Good to hear your on way home

Sounds like an offer of an upgrade to me!

Bit late to see this @JOG!
Get well soon old chap! Looks like you are being well looked after.

I'm glad to see you're home, best place for you, can't beat your own bed!
Don't rush to get back to normal, do what the doctor says!

Good news your out of hospital, it’s the weekend though, pissheads and brawlers take priority.

Probably not on the cardio ward though.
Hmmm….you’d be surprised!

I was on a stretcher in A&E for about 3 hours when I was admitted and then returned to the general waiting area around 11pm to accommodate pissheads and brawlers who were coming in (some with arresting cops in attendance!)

I had another heart attack at about 2:30am and was taken out of the waiting area to the “don’t let em die before we treat em” ward.

@DXX isn’t far off the mark. The Saturday “A&E Frequent Flyers” know how to fast-track!!!

That’s my experience of it too.
Medical needs have priority over justifying who deserves it first.
9 hour ambulance wait for my Dad in his late 90’s, get to hospital MAU and there’s a string of overdosing junkies getting the doctors attention first.
