Blackout Vs Privacy Windows

Can anyone offer comparison between Camper Glass total blackout and privacy windows please.

Not sure which to go for side windows.

I have the fake camper glass rear side windows against my original front glass and there is no difference at all.

Cheers, so that's "total blackout"? How's the light transmission, is it really dark from inside?

Yeah dark but not too dark. You can’t see in the van through it.

Cheers. I'm guessing aswell kind of like you're saying if I put fake windows in the rear quarters at any point , the blackout glass will look the same

Exactly. They are a perfect match as this was my initial concern when we installed the fake glass.

I thought total blackout windows are just that, totally black, you can't see out (they're dummy windows to match the privacy ones) ??

That could be my confusion then, I'm maybe calling "privacy" glass "blackout"

I bought a blackout window to replace one in my T5 that was leaking, it was totally black with no light transmission
I swapped it for a privacy one that was spot on, very dark but light looking out
That was also from camper glass.

Aha, right sorry yeh that's what I'm picturing. I don't see 2 fixed windows in privacy on THQ website (to benefit from BF discount) but they do list them on camper glass
