Hi , thanks for the info but struggling to locate it still , it’s a T6 67 plate and I don’t have a yellow connector under the pass seat , where is the second location you mentioned please-It depends a bit what kind of van you have - assuming T6.
- A yellow 10pin-connector under left seat - pin 2 (white/purple wire).
- Also control unit in dash panel insert has it.

E-box is under the battery. Probably best splicing in where you found it at the instrument cluster.Hi , thanks for the info but struggling to locate it still , it’s a T6 67 plate and I don’t have a yellow connector under the pass seat , where is the second location you mentioned please

Byte 03 Bit 0 Comfort Opening for Sun Roof active
Byte 03 Bit 1 Comfort Closing for Sun Roof active
Byte 03 Bit 2 Comfort Function for Sun Roof active (Sliding / pop-up roof (SAD) only open when comfort opening (instead of opening completely))
Hi Rob , so I have retro fitted a oem sunroof to my T6 , wired it as helped out by Paddy on here and then went today to get it turned on with vag com , but even though it all says active , nothing is working on the sunroof switchWhat are you trying to achieve?
Is there anything not working?
Right ok , so any ideas why it’s not working ? Is there any thing I could try ?Sunroof controller is not accessible with VCDS as it is not connected to CAN or LIN bus.
It is sort of stand alone controller and, as mentioned already by @Pauly, only comfort function commands are send from BCM via dedicated 2 wires.
So is it just the switch and the controller that could be faulty. Are they just old school and need to start checking power supplies ??Right ok , so any ideas why it’s not working ? Is there any thing I could try ?
Yes it was , and no did not see them working , I do have another complete set up , should I try them ?I presume it is a second hand setup.
What it working before you took it out of the donor?
So we have tried a different switch and motor but still no joy , think I’d be unlucky if all were no good ? Any ideas guysYes by all means if you have spare components try them. Maybe try different controller first.
At the sunroof control module check you have 12v at pin 4 and earth at pin 1.So we have tried a different switch and motor but still no joy , think I’d be unlucky if all were no good ? Any ideas guys
