Is there another map as well as the driveability map and if so what are the differences?.Hello @benp1
The driveability map is so much more than sport mode. Sport made can be quite tiring using daily, and doesn't address the issues as below
The benefits are quicker/smoother changes - Which seems hard to believe considering how quick they are standard.
The DSG pause when pulling away is gone
No mismatching of gears at lower speeds, or wrong gear selection when approaching junctions etc
The gearbox doesn't try to get into 7th at too lower speed, nor hold onto gears like sport mode. So you loose the labouring groan when putting your foot down, then it jumps into too lower a gear
It really does need to be driven to get how good the improvement is
They are gearbox specific, but if your start running big horsepower(High performance cars) then there are stage 1, 2 2+ etc that can be run. My stage 2 RS3 is running stage 2+ TVS software.

I want this already and I haven't even got the van yet. If I could have got the 150 in a manual I would have, but I was impressed by the DSG, and perhaps more importantly, so was the missus. I also tried a 199 (not available in S spec orange) and the 150 seemed to suit the DSG better - was I dreaming?
Same benefits for T6.1 I assume?
just to play devils advocate, could some of the benefits set out above not be achieved by driving around in sport mode? I'm not belittling the upgrade, just testing what the real benefits are
also, is the map engine/output specific?

@ScottyMac No they don’t. You just pull the lever back and it knocks it into S mode. Knock it back again into D
Awesome gti in manchester do it.https://www.awesomegti.com/tvs-dsg-softwareIs there anyone in the North West that could do this DSG remap on my Pendle tuned TSI?
or at least closer than a 5 hour, 300 odd mile drive to BognorMotors.
Blimey, that's a company name I've not heard of in a while. A guy called Jim Cotton use to own it in the 90's and did a lot of interestingly fast things with Mk 2 Golf GTI's - I wonder if it's the same fella now?Awesome gti in manchester do it.https://www.awesomegti.com/tvs-dsg-software

Interesting point there Paul. As I had paddles on my TSI and Used them all the time and have never used them on my TDI.
Loving the software then?
I have steering wheels ready to go- what are you after?
