Bus Stop Campers Sheffield

I just visited busstop. The unit is locked with no access. The unit next door told us that they vacated the premises on Monday and other matters
 
My van is also stuck in their workshop.
it is the other van that should have gone out on Friday. I was given a time slot but received a message to say they had hit a couple of snags and would have to order parts so it would be Monday.
On Monday there was no way to communicate with bus stop and we went over in the afternoon to find everything locked up and according to locals over the road, no one had been there all day! If anybody knows when it is open, please let me know so I can hopefully go over and get my van out.
I have contacted the police but they told me it is a civil matter, but after having read some of these posts, I think it could be criminal because they have been deliberately misleading people which is fraud and not returning our vans when asked which is theft.
I have been waiting for a year and am absolutely devastated by all of this.

A friend of mine in the campervan community has told me they’ve set up a company doing pop tops roofs, under the name “stellar roofs”… not sure if any truth in it but a quick search on companies house and the two companies are related (same 2 owners) could explain where the money & deposits have gone?

Our van is also in (has been for almost 6 months). Last time we saw it the roof had been removed and all the seats, some wiring, insulation and boarding had been done. Promised to do carpet and flooring - but doubt that’s been done. So disappointed that we have all been so badly let down and lied to when they have seemingly known for a long time they were heading this way.

Yes, I have been told that they are in a lot of trouble by illegally removing everything

Hi, we are forming alliances, they won't be getting away with this and we will make sure their other pop top business does not get chance to con and rob people either. Check your inbox, we have created a WhatsApp group chat, there is a good amount of us on there already.

We are already onto this, I'm on the war path, definitely messed with the wrong people. Naming and shaming them publicly far and wide, going to local papers, Sheffield online, police are involved and solicitors already. If they start a new business I will stand outside it every day warning people away if I have to. It seems that they have preyed on a lot of elderly and vulnerable people, people in their 70's, but some of us are a lot younger and have plenty of fight in us, they have met their match. If you find out anymore info keep us updated.
 
Have you checked out the director’s addresses on companies house, sometimes it’s a home address?

Hi, Yes we have various addresses and phone numbers, also acquired the business name, address and mobile number of one of the directors wife's business - her business seems to be thriving, been told a lot of the money stolen is funding her business and that she has been conspiring and planning with her husband to steal people's money. The local community and her customers will be receiving information soon. Also, going to supply details to official bodies, tax man etc, got some proof that "not all is declared and above board".
 
If they have appointed an administrator, by law they(The Administrator) will update the company’s website with a notice saying who the administrator is. You can then contact the Administrator directly to recover your property.
They may also attach a notice to the door of the premisis.

I feel for you & hope you get some sort of satisfaction. BUT!! Be careful, if other businesses are involved & have not done anything illegal, you might (ironically) be on the wrong end of the law. Some of the things they have done might not be morally right, but they also may not be illegal. Tread carefully.
