Buy seperate Sat Nav

Have T6 transporter 69plate has no sat nav just standard equitment....can l get a sd card or do l buy seperate Sat Nav or can l upgrade?.

We replaced the head unit with a Kenwood unit and then use apple play and through that google maps. Not necessarily massively cheap, but works great.

Appleplay/ Google maps is the way to go. The best mapping, live traffic, automatically stays up to date.

Does your radio have CarPlay / Android Auto?

I use Waze on my my phone and have it mounted to the windscreen. Would love a new head unit, but the van is currently sucking up my money in other departments

My HU nav has died and refuses to load maps now so use google maps on my phone instead.
Problem is the screen is too small on my phone to see at a glance when i'm driving and the stupid woman tells me directions way too late when exiting motorways etc so i'm always in the wrong lane .

I’ve had one of these for years, doesn’t rely on mobile signal, and I check the route to google maps before I leave home.
I find it better than google or the sat nav in my wife’s Nissan.
(Might be my age?).
