Can anyone advise please? I already have a t6 and Currently my items are protected as follows
Dcdc 16mm2 50amp midi fuse
Mppt 10mm2 30amp midi fuse
Mains charger fuse internally.
6way fuse box 10mm2 50amp midi fuse
4way fuse box 10mm2 50amp midi fuse
I'm doing up my T6.1 and planning on doing the same setup but this time instead, going via a bus bar instead of overcrowding the battery terminals.
Is it OK to run 16mm2 on a 50a midi fuse from the battery to the bus bar For all the above or do I need to rate the fuse higher or increase the cable size. Would I be better off with a 25mm/35mm and fusing at 150/225amp, the bus bar is rated at 250amp or is the 16mm sufficient aslong as its below 110amps?
