Camp-Sites in Wales

Yeah it is nice. I have family that live in Bishopston. We spent most of our family summer holidays as kids down there, camping on the site at Oxwich Bay.

Lol no oxwich bay all Gower aswell love it down there live in smoky town port Talbot and work in steel works so fresh air is awesome with our 4 dogs aswell lol

Another vote here for Nicholaston Farm.
Friends have also been impressed with the Three Cliffs Bay park.

We’ve stayed on the greenways of gower site a few times, 3/4 big open fields out the back of the main static caravans, good toilet block, free roam pitches, on site park for kids, ice cream van that comes most evenings and a short walk / even shorter drive from the beach at the bottom of the hill.

We have done Snowdonia but are looking for somewhere 5 mins to the beach so we can take kayak and have the dog, just not paying the £35+ we have seen so far around Tenby or even up Barmouth way. Help please...

Small car park / layby, no known restrictions, suits small vans. FREE. Short walk to Little Haven beach, pubs and restaurant.

Shell Island is pretty good, biggest campsite in Europe(?) Facilities are not too bad. Fixed toilet points around the site. Shower block at the front of the site. Has it's own pub on site, small shop and camping shop. Avoid school holidays. Has sand dunes at one end where you can park near the sea. Just north of Barmouth

This place was fab for us last year..would defo go back. They have a very well stocked farm shop on site selling fresh croissants and the like, and do pizzas at the weekends. Some of the higher pitches which are further away from the beach, but not by much, have a sea view.
