Hi everyone!
New to the campervan world and just had our first overnight trip this weekend. Great fun!
However we had a few teething problems with our fridge, a campercool CC50. I understand this to be new (van has just been converted, we bought off a conversion company).
It is supposed to have a removable freezer compartment, we didn't need the freezer this weekend so we took the freezer compartment out so we could just use as a fridge. However, the temperature for the fridge and freezer compartments are adjusted separately and the freezer setting doesn't go above -12. How are we supposed to use it as a fridge? We were on hookup and I went for -12 on the freezer and 7 on the fridge (hoping to average it out) but it actually felt a bit warm. So i adjusted fridge temperature to 4, then on the drive home it got really cold and our milk was semi frozen!! Any advice?!
Second question - now we are home and have switched it off, I'd like to leave the door open so it can air out but the fridge light is still on!! Can't see anywhere to switch the whole unit off other the the button on the front display which is obviously already off. Any advice on this for a campervan newbie?!
