What chairs are you using? I’ve been looking at the Kilos chairs, but they are quite expensive at £130 per chair.

We are looking for something comfy that packs up small.

I'm a big lad at 20 stone (hence my user name) and the higher priced Regatta chairs seem to be the only ones that survive the challenge.

When you say pack up small - what does 'small' mean? Is there a particular space they need to go?

I've got one of these Timber Ridge Camping Chair which folds up nice and slim and fits in a bag on my roof rack. Or by small do you mean the chair on the right in my pics

This is what I’ve been looking at.
It’s a full size chair but packs up super small.

That looks really neat. The weight capacity is about 10kg to low for me, but it's close enough I might give one a go

We have a couple of big mummas that we take for beach days. But we keep 2 OneTigris PROMENADE under the bench seat at all times for those random stops and when we are packing light.

The Helinox Chair One High Back pack down extremely small which clearly is an advantage in a campervan. We have four and find them really comfortable. However they are not cheap, but they are well made and a great design.

Yeah, it’s that type of thing I’m after.
Still thing the kilo gear is more adjustable though.

I’ve got a couple of these from Decathlon:



and also a couple of their low back version for extra seating or taking out and about. They both fold up small, are very light and pretty comfy for that type of seat.

I bought a pair of Olpro directors chairs from their returns/used section. I think I got two for less than 50 quid.
They are not small but I had a no compromise on a rigid armrest and they are very comfortable.

We have a similar combo of chairs. The big ones live in the van all the time and the small ones go in when we are camping near a beach for beach chairs

They are a bit heavier than our old alloy ones but fold up small, flat and square.

I did have a moment of Deja vu after I replied
