We are camping in Cornwall this summer. It’s bit hit and miss with the weather but mostly sunny/dry.
We went to a very basic site - Ryn Gowri Farm. Cold showers and compost loos. AMAZING views though. We got the bus to Cenen Cove (10minutes walk to bus stop) so no stress over parking and a jolly for the kids. Amazing beach. Very safe and pretty. Body boarding, surfing, SUPs etc.
We are now at the other extreme: Dove Meadows. Strict on ball games and site positioning (no fires) but my word 50p gets you a lot of hot shower and the facilities are spotlessly clean. The location is amazing a very flat 3 miles outside Penzance town. A short walk to Long rock beach, and St Michael’s mount. We also got a bus (7mins walk to bus stop) and went Praa sands beach! Best beach we’ve been to. Lifeguards, safe as houses but good waves!! Lots of space to spread out.
