Camping Table

for what purpose?

we have a 4man vango camping table with four chairs.

we have the costco 4ft folding table, and the 2ft table, with folding legs etc.. . they are very good and sturdy.

we also have the small roll top fold away backpack 2ft table from Rubens.

got some examples here...

We use a cheap bog standard camping table, we like the type with the U shape legs, as we can place 2/4 pegs over the bottom bar to stop it blowing over in our lovely British summers.. also we leave it pegged down to save our pitch if we take van out for the day.
Loads of different sizes to fit your van storage, But like everyone, your end up with 3 different tables, 3 different sets of chairs, 3 stoves etc etc… to suit different trips and the different seasons.. your need a bigger shedIMG_3810.png

I’d suggest one with individually adjustable legs so you can level it on uneven ground. It’s then a compromise between usable size vs stored size vs how long it takes to put up/down. Depends what is most important to you. Having a table that needs 3 hands and is a faff to erect wears thin pretty quickly!

In the spirit of everything having two uses, our ‘camping table’ is the same as the table top we use in the van. Within the van the central table leg slots into a base attached to the floor. When the table top is in camping mode we use a shorter table leg slotted into a folding tripod base from Chippys Workshop.

Ok, the the folding base and short table leg are single use but the larger table top is multipurposed. Attachments use the Redwood system. Unfortunately it is reported as Out of Stock.

After several cheap/simple camping tables, we bought Brunner Titanium Axia 4.
Packed size is not small but it's rock solid and has feature for leveling.
Also thinking Loc8 style table to use as outside kitchen.

We have a table that fixes to the kitchen in the van but never used it as we normally just take the loc8 table and use that for everything. We have a roll up table similar to the one above but I don’t think we’ve ever bothered taking that (although it’s bigger than the loc8 table which was a bit small for 4 of us). Now have a cadac 2 cook 3 so got a small table that folds into a case for that
