I guess they own the foreshore, it’s fairly common in Cornwall.I agree with the harbour master levying a charge to use an SUP but i just don’t get why a campsite should!
Remember, you can’t legislate for stupid!!!
As a kid I grew up with private beaches nearby, ’Please cross over’ signage all over the cliff. Made great firewood.
If you object to paying don’t, it’s highly likely the person monitoring it is being paid a pittance, cash in hand and doesn’t give a flying ****.
EDIT, just noticed it’s a farm which means there’s a good chance that the Duchy of Cornwall (old big ears) owns the land and the foreshore and leases it.
