Despite reading up on here and reading the VW websites/manuals etc I still can’t really believe they are charging so much money for something with such little functionality but the fact that I have it and still can’t work it out says a lot I think.
IMO app connect is expensive but is worth it to get your full phone functionality on the stereo. Even Siri works (without the VW voice control option activated) to read and then respond to messages. And I haven’t even tried out the sat nav options through the phone yet!
