Caravelle interior LED lighting

I just fitted this Ultra Bright kit to mine, every bulb to do all the interior lights 
- VW Caravelle T6 Ultra Bright Interior Lighting 29 LED Upgrade Kit
I installed my step lights in the original holder from behind the lens so had to open the holes out to 6.5mm, but if you remove the lens cover then fit the bulbs from the front you can leave them at 5.5mm

Hi- sorry to resurrect an old thread but this is the first thread I’ve found that might be able to help! New Gen 6 owner- and have a feeling something isn’t quite right with the interior lights (but hoping it’s user error with it being totally new to me- and having so far only been able to attempt to play around with it on the dark ). I can not get the interior lights to switch on when the doors are opened (climbing in/out with four kids in the dark is tricky!)… when I DO get them to come on they then stay on and do not fade and go off - although I’ve only left them a few minutes - I just couldn’t see it would need longer than that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ the manual I have mentions a turn dial in the rear with the lights- there isn’t one… can anyone help? It seems so trivial on a car with so many tricks and features but it’s essential to us!! As an aside I think one of four internal passenger roof lights has blown a bulb- but can’t imagine that’s to blame for not being able to get anything else to do what I expect it should be able to do as standard (?)
Rocker switch above drivers head in centre maybe the cause I’m not sure …. Change all internal lights to led much whiter bright and cheap to do
sorry to jump on an old thread but my clip has broken on the front interior lights of my Caravelle meaning they drop down - everything is still working but I can't find a replacement clip part number for the metal clip anywhere and don't really want to pay circa £60 on a whole new unit. Any ideas where I can get the part number from please? A few places I have called can't help me
What generation of van do you have?
