Centre Caps for Tuff Torque 17” Steels

Hey everyone! First post here so go easy on me

Just starting to make some modifications to my van, really happy with the upgrade the Tuff Torques (and Pirelli Scorpions) have made to the overall look. However I’m not loving the look of the rusty ole centre of the wheels…

I’ve been thinking a nice little matte black centre cap (similar to the front VW badge I’ve got but smaller obviously) would sit pretty nicely in there. I’ve scoured the internet but can’t seem to find anything other than the big caps for the standard VW steels, or the smaller chrome style caps which are kind of the right shape/size but not the right style.

What do you lot reckon? Does it exist? Open to other suggestions too if anyone has any. Thanks!

Sorry another question, looking at getting the Devonports re-coated, have a quote of £396 - anyone else had re-spray/re-coat recently - just wondered what the going rate was? Mine were £250 for 5 powder coated in satin black including disposal of old tyres and fitting of new tyres. Near Lincoln.

How did you get on finding Centre Caps as have same problem
 
I have the same problem and have scoured the internet too. I can't find any centre caps to fit the 56mm Internal diameter (64mm outer diameter) transporter axle. I'm beginning to wish I'd not bought these Gojo black modular steel wheels. At least the Tough Torque ones take the VW wheel bolts with the grooves for the VW centre caps. The Gojos don't.

I ended up putting standard vw Centre caps with a sticker in centre lije attached

Thanks. But how did you attach the VW centre caps to your wheels?

My Gojo modular wheels do not take the standard VW wheel bolts as the taper is different. And there are no other wheel bolts (I can find) that have the groove that the VW centre caps require to fit on. Maybe your steels have a different taper and the VW wheel bolts fit them?

I had to buy tuff torque wheel bolts as vw ones didn't fit. Then I bought some small rubber tap washers from b n q that fit inside the vw centre caps but over the bolts if you know what I mean to hold them in place. Done 13000 odd miles and still there. Touch 🪵

That's fantastic. What a great idea. Thanks very much. One last question. Do you remember if the wheel bolts you bought had 17mm or 19mm heads. (As an ex-plumber I am hoping that I'll have some washers around that will fit.)
 
Can't remember off the top of my head, I know if did end up buying a 17 and 19 socket. Part of me is saying 19 buy I'm old and my memory is 💩
