Change from the orange Day Light Running bulb

Hello Everyone,
I have just bought the H4 Osram Nightbreaker laser bulbs and before I fit them, I might as well change the DRL’s.
has anyone any recommendations for the DRL BA15S bulb, to compliment or make it better, without error message’s please.
Currently saving for some Transporter HQ v2.

Not saw them before , does the light pattern spread side ways instead of straight ahead ? Hope that made sense lol

Hi can anyone recommend a decent led drl bulb for a 2019 t6, l have phoned Vee Dub and Transport HQ both do not sell this item
but say there are some good ones out there that do not flicker or put warning lights on dashboard.
Thanks

Tom D

I went for these, no errors on the dash, very bright, no flicker etc

Only problem is they are nearly brighter than the H4 bulbs, but at least you'll be seen

They are suitable as a replacement for a 21W bayonet fit bulb, but they are bright white, would work in an indicator where there is an amber lens on it, or brake light with a red lens. I wouldn't use them as a tail light, too bright and would look like your brake lights were on all the time.

Morning all,

I've just had a bulb warning pop up on my van, looks like the DRL on the drivers side has gone, looking briefly at the space restrictions that side is it an airbox or headlight out job to get to these? is the common consensus to replace with LED bulbs? my main consideration would be if this is likely to last longer as they appear to be difficult to access.

DRL bulbs are relatively easy to change (I can only speak for the H4 setup that I sadly have!), even on the driver's side, access is not bad. Removing the top of the air filter housing is easy and I do have to do that to change the H4 headlight bulb, but I don't think it would help much with a DRL bulb change.
I put LEDs in mine. They will almost certainly outlive a traditional bulb as well as having a crisp white appearance.
