Thank you for the advice @DXX will be hopefully trying the tin foil tomorrow after work, and see how it goes before ordering a better system, on youtube watched a few videos on autovox wireless cameras and seem to get good review, anyone have any experience with this make?

You could also try a ferrite suppressor on the power cable.

What is a ferrite suppressor ?

Whack the term into Google and you’ll find what it is, filter on ‘shopping’ and you’ll get some buying options, it needs to fit around the power cable to the dash monitor.
Ebay, Amazon etc. Normally they are supplied with the equipment.
