Clayton LPS Bluetooth / app ETA

Seen this mentioned elsewhere so in case it helps anyone, the Bluetooth app mentioned as “coming in 2024” on their website still isn’t available and I emailed them about it. They have said units are due in UK in April / May and these will ONLY be on new units. No add on for older ones. I have asked if any other changes to the newer units and will post on here when they reply. My conversion is happening in June, so hopefully can get one of the newer ones. It does highlight the downside of an all in one unit I guess!

I saw that. Would have to be a lot cheaper I think for me to be tempted as conversion company gives 3 yr warranty but I’m assuming would exclude this and it’s a big outlay to lose on. GLWS though.

Confirmed no other changes to new models except Bluetooth, including price.

In case anyone has been waiting for this, new units with Bluetooth now available in the UK. Will be having one fitted to my van so if nobody else gets there first will post a few pics / comments on the app etc when we get it.

I recently had my van converted and picked it up in March of this year. My LPS doesn't seem to have the bluetooth setting as I have scrolled through the whole menu. Maybe my conversion company used an older spec model

Yes unfortunately it would have done. The Bluetooth models were massively delayed vs when they were supposed to come out and only arrived in UK in April, so you just missed it! I wouldn’t worry about it though, its the only difference I am told, so if you have the remote then you’re only really losing the ability to view / control via the app AFAIK.
