Clayton power units

Thanks, I was wondering whether they would fit in the cupboards. That would be much more useful.
I just got the van yesterday, and overnight the Clayton unit has lost about 25% of power holding. It's not that old, and I can't figure out where it's draining it - no lights or fridge on, can't see any other 12v source capable of doing it. Main car battery is also pretty much brand new. Is this normal? Any ideas where the drain might be? Any suggestions welcome!
Have a look at the menu and see what the DC output is. Let me know what it is showing in Watts. If there is any draw something is on. You shouldn't be getting a drain at all, providing the 230v is off.

Are you leaving the 240V switched on? If so that will consume power itself for the provision and cooling fans in the unit.

If not it is something else
Yeah, this is spot on. The 3000 model for example will draw about 30w per hour on idle (230v on but no draw) it doesn't seem like a lot but 300w over 10 hrs is a dent in the capacity.

@ahoymark I just wanted to say a massive thank you for your helpful videos on YouTube about the Clayton and how to wire the 12v, solar etc etc I studied that video and then went on to install my own. Massive thanks

Ah, cheers Chris. Appreciate it. Many hours and blue words were used in making all those videos. A natural youtuber I'm not, but stubborn enough to keep going I am :p
