Hey guys. I know there’s been a few post on here about water coming in to the steps of the cab. I’ve got a similar problem and have read through as many of the old posts as I could find but coming up short.
So I’ve got water building up on my passenger side step. I thought it was the rubber seal along the top edge of the passenger and sliding doors as my van is 2008 and I could see the material was wearing. However, I’ve just replaced that this morning and hosed down the side of the van and water is still coming in.
Since then, I’ve started pouring water only against the lower part of the window glass to isolate my test to water going past the weather seal. I’ve pulled the door card back and I can see water filling up on the inside of the card. Yet I’m just can’t seem to locate the source. Have tried to attach some photos. It doesn’t seem like much but it’s definitely finding a path around edge of the bare metal card in the door which the speaker is mounted to.
I don’t have speaker upgrades. Drain holes at the bottom of the door seem clear. Hoping someone who knows these doors really well can help shed some light!
