Connecting a fold up Renogy 200w Solar panel to my CTEK D250se

21.6 voc..

So fine, on the CTEK.

The crock clips are only from the controller.

The panel allone should have mc4 solar connectors on.... These are what needs connecting to the CTEK... You will prob need a mc4 extension cable too...

Post a pic of the rear of the whole 200w panel for more advice.
Cheers, I'll post the full set up in the next couple of days.

I've a 100w portable panel that connects direct to the CTEK, with a 'tail' poking out the front of the driver's seat. Haven't managed to get it to charge through the CTEK though - they reckon something about a minimum wattage going in before it kicks in. The discussion with them was last year, when it wasn't sunny enough to test and I gave up. I just connect via Croc clips and the supplied controller. Must have another look.

You don't need a controller if your going to the ctek.

Solar straight to ctek and it'll work fine.

My 120w panel starts charging about 6am very slowly through the ctek so the story about wattage isnt true

@Rollindoughnut exact same applies to your setup above. You'll need a flying lead with MC4s from the ctek and then an extension MC4 to go between your panel and your flying lead

If you don’t want to use that controller on the panel, unplug the mc4 connectors to the right of it and plug the extension leads from the plugs you just disconnected to the CTEK.
Thanks sor the reply Skyliner, Sorry, if I sound a bit Timnicebutdim but can you only use one or the other with the CTEK or the controller on the panel?

Yeah, sorry, my post wasn't clear - it's a direct connection to the CTEK. I only use the other controller when croc clipping to the battery. I'll double check the CTEK connections when I can be arsed to remove the seat again.
