Seen as most people on the site have been going on about the best/ cheapest mod - extra door seals and the rubber dash strip I had to invest and I can say I’m very impressed, also while Surfing the net I also bought some rubber door pocket liners , quite expensive for what they are but I think it’s worth it !
Adding to the list. Was disappointed that vw stopped the option of factory fitting on the door seals..

Has anyone been to Sherwood Campers ? looked at their conversions look really smart. Wondering any reviews ?

Ah I didn’t realise this was an option from Vw at one point ! It really does make a massive difference
I had them as fitted as part of my options list, they do make a huge difference to the door closing sound and general road noise.

Hi do you have any links, I have seen various posts and I know the shop doesn't sell them so wondering where you got them from

Update on the conversion start date !! My converter is running behind probably 3-4 weeks due to hi low roofs not delivering ordered roofs on time , they admitted that they hadn’t anticipated the influx of people buying their product , which doesn’t help me but it is what it is ! So he is still waiting for delivery date on 3or 4 roofs including mine

So it’s been a while but I’ve finally got some new wheels after spending loads of time searching for what I wanted , also searching the forum so as not to mess up on offset and tyre choice ! A big thankyou to Oli @BognorMotors for all the advise he gave me ! And for supplying the wheels

Very nice. What offset and what tyres did you choose?
So the fronts are 8.5 inch et 35 and the rears are 10 inch et 40 and the tyres are 265/40/20 ... it was the staggered look I was after but didn’t want to have rubbing on the arches etc and while looking at brands of wheels I liked I found not all do this offset as I originally wanted the Judd t311r !

The wheels are TSW clypse rated for a T 32 this was also an issue while choosing them

Wow the roof really is ace, I have a different colour roof so it really stands out to me.
But yours looks stock

Ok it’s been a while as I’ve been very slack posting pics etc but I am now up and running after many months of choosing furniture etc etc and all I can say is I am really pleased with the outcome ! Here’s a few pics :)

Looks like Jaibow to me. I was going to get him to put a HiLo roof in mine but changed my mind about HiLo after reading lots on here.

Yes it certainly is buddy , I have to say he has exceeded my expectations as the job is superb , I hope the roof turns out to be better than some on here but all I can say is if I do experience any problems it won’t be down to poor fitting so I will have to wait and see , and fingers crossed
