Coolant leak / Mystery - help!! SOS!!

Quick question re leakage.... would anyone recommend a sealant like K Seal for one of these leaks? Needing to top up the reservoir about once every 1000-1500 miles and can't find any evidence of a leak...
No, but can have the cooling system pressure tested to find the leak.

Possibly charge cooler leaking coolant into the intake when engine is warm.?

Just an update.... The leak was traced to the exhaust gas cooler thingy... however there was also a problem with the charge air cooler... which caused the engine to overheat as the temp gauge and water level warning were reading incorrectly.... leading to the cylinder head failing.... damaging one of the cylinders...... Long story short, nearly £10k later we have a van with a brand new engine and no water leak... and no time to go camping cos it's overtime to pay for it all

jeez . . .

a brand new engine!!

so route cause was EGR cooler leaking AND water charge cooler leaking. - not good.

I hope it's okay to tag onto this existing thread.
I'm losing coolant, 700ml in 550 miles.
I've pressure tested the air charger, it lost 26mbar in 45 mins. It had a very thin oil film with small drops of water in it, when wiping a gloved finger inside it. I guess this could be condensation from a leak elsewhere.
Is the next step to pressure test the EGR chiller?
Seems horrible to get to, I think I'd rather just replace it for the effort.
One reason I'm a little reluctant to get torn into it is bleeding the coolant afterwards. I don't have the software. Can I just put a vacuum on the reservoir?

Hi,
I just removed the corrugated pipe leaving the egr valve. It had water laying in it, enough to completely soak a sheet of kitchen role.
It wasn't pink like my coolant, which is strange. It seemed to be too much for condensate.
Should the egr valve be dry and sooty at all times?
